Which Countries in Europe are good to study Masters?

International experience has become more and more important in recent years. Large and small companies alike look for employees who have left their “comfort zone”. By studying abroad in Europe, you set the course for your career success. Many European countries also make an effort to convince foreign graduates to stay after university. That means if you decide to study in Europe, the chances are good that you will get a job offer and can stay for the longer term. Currently Europe market is doing well with economy in most countries being back to their growth rate and hence offering a lot to skilled students to grab opportunities.   
Few countries, which you surely should be considering, are Germany, Netherlands, France and Ireland. We shall discuss few important aspects of these countries offering world-class education ahead.

1. Germany   
Germans are known for quality and hence the education is imparted from the best in the industry with great focus on research. They have two types of universities TU and FH.  Former is research-based university where as the latter is practical oriented. So if you looking for PHD ahead opt for TU universities. Germany is very particular on giving admissions they typically want a well academic student with strong profile in terms of aggregate, internships or job. Only few seek for GRE or any other aptitude test. IELTS is the only compulsory test. The best part of German education is most of the universities offer free education and hence becomes very lucrative for all and especially for students who want economical options.  Germany has two intakes every year October called as winter semester and March as summer semester. Most universities are open in October. Deadlines to apply for the same is 6-7 months prior and as competition is very strong early application is recommended. German language is not compulsory but it is preferred to learn. Even if certain universities are paid the fees are quite economical as compared to cost in US, UK, Australia or any other destination. Tuition fees range in paid universities around 6 lakhs to 8 lakhs per year. Engineering courses are top notch in Germany and hence it is very difficult to get into those but with efforts in advance can allow you to fulfill your German education dream.  You get two years to stay back in Germany post your masters and hence a very good time to have your roots strong in the German country.

2. Netherlands   
Dutch people are highly polished and known for their sophisticated technologies and solutions. Hence it is very ideal to go and pursue masters in Netherlands.  Netherlands is in the heart of Europe and hence it is known as a gateway of Europe. They also have two types of universities research based and applied sciences. IELTS is the only test that is required. GMAT is required for business programs and some engineering programs require GRE.  Tuition fees are quite subsidized around 7lakhs to 10lakhs per year, which is still very, less as compared to US.  They have wide range of courses from engineering, computer science, management and finance.  Netherlands also offers a stay back visa for two years after masters. Hence in all it is a promising destination to opt for.  

3. France   
France is very well known for various programs it offers. Courses on Information Technology, Computer science, Hospitality, Business, Analytics, Finance and Design are widely available. France offers education at relatively very less fees. Tuition fees may range from 5 lakhs to 8 lakhs per year, which is very less. France has 1-year masters to 2 years. IELTS is the only exam needed for admission. It gives you stay back option of two years post completion of masters. French language is not compulsory for admission but it helps in fetching part time jobs and hence ideal to learn once you are in the country. There is wide variety of universities in France and hence each profile can get options to apply there.

4. Ireland   
This is latest Europe country on chart due to its power packed offerings. Firstly it is English-speaking country so no language is needed to learn. It offers education at a very good price. Tuition fees range from 7 lakhs to 10 lakhs and most masters are for one year or 1.5 year. IELTS is the only exam needed for admission. September is the main intake and next intake is January. It offers wide variety of courses in IT, Computer sciences, information systems, business, health care, finance and pharmacy. Ireland after certain EU policies and Brexit has become an IT hub with all big IT companies having their EU headquarter in Ireland. As people are less in Ireland the government want skilled labor and hence providing two years stay back option after masters. Apart from IT even Pharmacy and health care students have good option to stay in Ireland. In Ireland if you stay for five years you also have a chance to receive permanent residency, which no other country in EU would provide, and hence it opens your entire EU market post getting residency. Hence it is an economical option with good stability for long term.   
Sometimes we are so focused on only one country that we miss evaluating other countries offering quality education and international exposure. Hence this article is to throw better light on some European destinations. Europe promises quality education, good internships, economical fees, job opportunities and worldclass exposure. It is truly worth considering Europe while choosing your master education destination.
