ME: In my undergraduate I have done 3 projects and 1 internship based on Embedded and Automation Systems. Also, post masters I want to return back to India and work here as Embedded Systems Engineer.
VO: Which Schools Did you apply to?
ME: University of Texas at Dallas, University of Illinois at Chicago, University of Southern California and Northeastern University Boston

VO: What is your undergrad GPA?
ME: It's 8.79 GPA.

ME: I graduated in June, 2013.
VO: What were you doing since then?
ME: I am working as Software Engineer in XYZ Pvt. Ltd also known as XYZ.
VO: Ok, who is sponsoring your education?
ME: I have a secured education loan of 28.8 Lacs, additionally my parents are also sponsoring for my education. They have saving worth 7 lacs in savings bank account and Fixed Deposits worth 11 lacs.
VO: What do they do?
ME: Both my parents are entrepreneurs. They are Wholesale Distributors for Stationary.
VO: What is their Annual Income?
ME: It's 6 lacs per annum.

VO: So, why UT Dallas?
ME: My area of interest is Embedded and Automation Systems. In UT Dallas, there is specific research which is going in this field by Prof. XYZ, which I want to take up.
VO: What other schools did you apply to?
ME: Apart from UT Dallas, Applied to University of Illinois Chicago, Northeastern University Boston and University of Southern California.
VO: Which admits?
ME: Apart from this, I have admit from Illinois Chicago.
VO: Show me your Test score cards.
ME: Both GRE and TOEFL sir?
VO: Yes.
ME: (Thanked him and Passed the documents without delay -- My GRE score is 306 (158q,148v,3.0awa), TOEFL is 90 (r23,l23,s22,w22) -- GRE third attempt)

VO: Do you have any backlogs?
ME: No backlogs sir.
VO: You have any brothers and sisters?
ME: Yes sir, I have a brother and a sister. (answered confidently)
VO: What are their ages?
ME: My sister is 28, she is married and my brother is 26 (later realized told their ages 2 years less than actually they are!!! )
VO: Who is sponsoring your education?
ME: I have a secured education loan of 28.8 lacs. Besides, my parents have saved 18 lacs in form of savings and fixed deposits. We also have properties worth 65 lacs.
VO: What are your parents? (reading something on screen, might be my last attempts remarks)
ME: Both my parents are entrepreneurs. They are Wholesale Distributors for Stationary.
VO: Sorry, They are what?? (I think didn't listen it properly)

ME: Sir, They make 6L from the stationary business, additonally we get 3.45 lacs rental income from our properties. So, totally 9.45 lacs. (confidently)
