Yerevan Haybusak University, established in 1991, is a private university in Armenia. It is the largest non-state educational institution in Armenia and provides higher education and professional training programs. Transportation in the city

The most practical means of transportation in Armenia are medium and large-capacity buses. Buses and mini buses are easy and affordable methods to get around the city and offer several sightseeing opportunities. A bus or minibus in Yerevan costs only 100 AMD(INR 19). Travelers within Armenia won't have any problems even though most of the population speaks Russian and many international students also speak English or other languages. Only at authorized bus stops do the buses make a halt. Between bus stops, they don't make a request stop.


Services offered by the university

The library has become one of the students' and instructors' favorite locations since it continually enriches textbooks, educational-methodical, supporting educational materials, popular scientific literature, periodicals, and fiction. 

  • A large reading room with access to WiFi is connected to the library. 
  • Currently, there are 35.340 books altogether, of which 15.080 are textbooks, 4200 are project-based novels, 1400 are instructional materials, 14600 are supplementary materials, 60 are maps, and 19 are informative electronic CDs that comprise 25.000 unit books. 
  • A printing press for information is also present.
  • The main responsibility of the Yerevan Haybusak University Students Council, reorganized in September 2019 by the University's charter and the laws of the Republic of Armenia, is to represent and defend students' interests and participate in the resolution of their various problems. 

Student life at Yerevan Haybusak University

The YHU student council plans numerous intra-university and extracurricular events during its operation, including outbound trips, excursions to historical sites, sporting events, philanthropic projects, and more.

  • An excursion to the Yerevan History Museum is planned for a group of Yerevan Haybusak University, international students. The museum halls are all displayed to the students, containing ancient writings, artifacts, ceramics, and other items. The visit's objective is to introduce international students to the culture and history of the city.
  • The HUY has a sports commission and a gym with high levels of initiative. SP has collaborated on diverse projects with others, including university students. 
  • On an inter-university and non-university scale, several seminars on karate-do, football, volleyball, and basketball are held, where positive outcomes have been shown.
  • The fact that participants in the tournaments are both international and Armenian students shows students' outstanding commitment to a particular program, which is closely supervised by the SP Sports Commission and the University.
