Transportation in the city

New York Institute of Technology, Vancouver, has no particular in-campus bus services. Students travel by bike, shared taxi, bus, and train networks.

C-TRAN's #19 Salmon Creek bus route in the city offers service to the NYIT Vancouver campus. Lower Columbia CAP offers Rural Transportation service between Longview and Vancouver Monday through Friday, six times a day. 

Students, staff, and faculty of WSU Vancouver are eligible for the C-TRAN BackPASS. It gives them unlimited access to C-TRAN local and limited bus service (not valid on Express or C-VAN services). Along with the buses, students and staff can also use private taxis and get down at Salmon Creek Avenue to reach the college premises and residences.
