Please note that the motivation essay should include the following points in detail:, The reasons of your interest in the program and your qualifications for it., The reasons why you would like to study at (the Faculty of Biology of) the LMU., The reasons for your interest in particular research groups or areas., Proof of your proficiency in English equal to a C1 level, as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), or proof of equivalent proficiency in English. Please note that it must be clear to the selection committee that your knowledge of English equals at least a C1 level, as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). This means that the proof must either explicitly state that your English proficiency equals a C1 level, or the proof of your C1 proficiency in English is at least verifiable (such as for internationally recognized language tests).
