One Semester defer request - Need to go for stamping again?

Hi all, my visa got approved for summer, but due to some medical reasons I’m unable to attend summer classes and deferred my application to fall. I have the below queries.

1. Do I need to go for stamping again for fall?

2. Any issues I need to face during my immigration.

3. Please provide the pros and cons of the above

Note: I'm planning for the same university and the university also released updated i20.
