MCS vs MS in CS

Hey guys, can someone please explain me the difference between MCS and MS courses? Also, for the universities that offer only MS course, is it mandatory to write a thesis or do we get to choose between a project and a thesis? Also, is MCS is considered as equally esteemed as MS degree or not? I am not interested in research and most likely want to work in the industry after graduation. Can someone please help me choose between these MCS and MS in CS?
