Lors. Suggestion!!!

Question

As I am switching from Mechanical to Cs for my masters, should I take Lors from Mechanical profs or Hods?! Or cs profs under whom I have not even studied or worked ?!

Hello Achyut,

LORs are statements from credible sources stating your capabilities and performance either academically or professionally. So it is very important for you to take the recommendations from professors who have taught you or guided you. It doesn't matter if the professor is from Mechanical department, you should take the LOR from profs who have known you and can give you good personalized letters. LORs matter a lot in your applications, so choose wisely from whom you take them.
