I want to study abroad but...

I want to study animation after 12th abroad but the fear I have in me is my poor english. My english vocabulary is very weak. I'm always insecure about my english speaking and writing. I can understand english but I really cannot speak and write. Do you think should I take extra classes for the language before leaving?
