Has anything been mentioned in your offer letter? If not, try contacting the department about the same. You will have to show the I20 amount for visa. If nothing has been mentioned then they probably arent offering you a scholarship. So you will have earn through part time jobs , TA/RA or intern during your time their to cover some of the cost.
