How To Reschedule GMAT Exam?
To score high in your GMAT exam it takes a lot of practice and dedicated study hours. You need to evaluate your preparation and then book your slot for the GMAT. If you have made an appointment for the GMAT in a rush, the GMAT reschedule policy will help you change your test date and test centre.
Follow these 7 simple steps to reschedule your GMAT examination:
- Step 1 - Log into your official mba.com account with your username and valid password.
- Step 2 - Go to ‘My Account’ and select the ‘Exam’ section. Search for the GMAT exam you want to modify and click on it. You’ll see two options: Reschedule & Cancel - Choose the reschedule option.
- Step 3 - Pick your new test date and time. If you wish to modify your test centre too, click on the bottom left ‘change test centres’ option.
- Step 4 - The next window will ask you to verify the new date and time for the GMAT test. Click on the ‘complete reschedule’ button to save the new changes.
- Step 5 - Once you’ve completed your GMAT reschedule and recheck all your personal information: name, contact number, date of birth, country/region of citizenship and correspondence language. Click on the ‘next’ button.

GMAT Exam Reschedule Fees
The GMAT reschedule fees depend on when you are rescheduling your GMAT test date. You need to pay the GMAT reschedule fee at the time of rescheduling your new test date and test centre. The variations in the GMAT reschedule fee is as follows:
- 60 days or more before the test date - $50
- 15-60 days before the test date - $100
- 14 days or less before the test date - $150
How to Cancel GMAT Exam?
If you are not interested in pursuing an MBA degree for which the GMAT exam is required, then the GMAT test cancellation policy allows you to cancel your appointment for the GMAT.
Follow these 3 quick steps to cancel GMAT exam:
- Step 1 - Log into your official mba.com account with your username and password.
- Step 2 - Go to the ‘My Account’ section and click on the ‘Exam’ option. Select the GMAT exam you want to cancel. Two options will be visible: reschedule and cancel - Click on the “Cancel” option.
- Step 3 - Click on the ‘confirm cancellation’ button to cancel your GMAT exam.

GMAT Exam Cancellation Fees
The GMAT cancellation fees is decided according to the timeline of your cancellation. According to the GMAT test cancellation policy, GMAT deducts the cancellation fee and refunds the rest amount to your original payment source.
The variations in the GMAT cancellation fee are as follows -
- 60 days or more before the test date - $150 ($100 refund)
- 15-60 days before the test date - $175 ($75 refund)
- 14 days or less before the test date - $200 ($50 refund)
