ME: Good Morning. (Passed the i20 and passport).
VO: Which university are you going to?
ME: SUNY, Binghamton.
VO: Which major are you planning for?
ME: I am planning for Industrial and Systems Engineering.
VO: How much did you score in your GRE?
VO: What are all the universities you applied to?
ME: Told them** and was interrupted when I told University of Michigan, Dearborn.
VO: Did you get an admit there?
ME: No ma’am, But I have received admits from 4 of 8 I applied.
VO: Where did you receive your admits?
VO: Who is sponsoring your education?
ME: My father is sponsoring my education.
VO: What does your father do?
ME: He runs his own business..
VO: What kind of Business?
ME: Manufacturing of Automobile and Industrial Parts.
VO: What kind of jobs do you think you would get?
ME: An Industrial Consultant or Operations Manager.
VO: Which are the dream companies you want to work in?
ME: I am not planning to work as I would like to take over my dads’ business.
VO: Your visa is approved. Thank you. (Kept my passport back).
ME: Thank You. Have a great day.
My answers to the first one might seem irrelevant to the answer of the second, but I was trying to answer to the question asked. My thoughts about the second question is it was a trap, so I played a safe bluff.
