ME: 72% (still answering in single words)
VO: What is your GRE score?
ME: 299 (finally got back my senses and told the score breakup as well)
VO: What were you doing since 2010?
ME: I have worked in 3 leading MNCs as a Senior Software Developer.
VO: Where do you work currently?
ME: Told
VO: How much do you make?
ME: XX lakhs pa
VO: How many University did you apply?
ME: I applied to 4 universities
VO: How many rejects?
ME: two ( again back to single worded answers)
VO: Why did you choose this University over the other?
ME: (forgets everything) Mainly because of the ongoing research in the field of AI and Software Engineering (wait what? I just told whatever came to my mind) He interrupted and moved to another question
VO: How are you going to sponsor your education?
ME: (Confidence hits me) Sir as you can see I have received $XX for assistantship
VO: What are you required to do in your assistantship?
ME: Both teach and research(didn't elaborate at all)
VO: What about the remaining amount?
ME: My parents will be funding, we have a saving of XX amount and I have taken a loan of XX from SBI
VO: What do your parents do?
ME: They are both teachers at Govt school(almost forgot to mention) and my Dad recently got retired.
VO: How much does your mom make?
ME: She makes XX pa and my Dad used to make XX pa before retiring
VO: Ok I'm approving your Visa, best of luck for your Studies!
