Will leaving my job (been working for 7ms) and applying for masters for Jan intake (10 months break) be bad for resume?

My work at an MNC my work is related to legacy tech and is time-consuming, I want to leave it and learn stuff related to my interests and do a project on it, while preparing for my master's abroad (Jan 2024 intake), how will this 10-month break be perceived by universities?
