What's the best way to find the cheapest flight tickets for Toronto from India in the month of August?

I have a September intake and my visa arrived just now and I wasn't sure if the visa would come through so I didn't book the tickets but now that the visa has arrived I'm planning to go in mid of August but as expected the fares for flight tickets are off the chart. I'd like to know if anyone has any contacts or something that could help me find a ticket that doesn't cost me a kidney. Any tips, tricks, contacts literally anything helps at this point. Thank you.
