Transportation in the city
A London Transit Bus Pass is given to each undergraduate student who is enrolled full-time. This is valid for unlimited free rides, seven days a week, at all bus stops, and during all operating hours (including holidays). Some people will just utilize it to repeatedly bike the 2 Dundas route to class each morning. Others will seize the chance to the fullest and use this free ticket to enjoy everything London has to offer. The U.S.C. is dedicated to offering Western Students a Universal Bus Pass in cooperation with the L.T.C. The Paper Pass is being phased out in favor of the Western One tap card as part of ongoing attempts to develop a more effective scheme.
Services offered by the university
The Western University, which maintains a visible presence on all of the campuses, offers a comprehensive public safety program for the benefit of the university community.
- Western Libraries, the University's library system, runs six libraries with a combined collection of more than 2.45 million books as well as electronic resources like databases, e-books, and serials. The Allyn and Betty Taylor Library, the C. B. Johnston Library, the Education Library, the D. B. Weldon Library, the John & Dotsa Bitove Family Law Library, & the Music Library are among the libraries that are a component of the system.
- The C. B. Johnston Library largely serves the Ivey Business School, while the Allyn and Betty Taylor Library primarily serves the faculties of Engineering, Health Sciences, Science, and the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry. - Additionally, Western continues to have academic and organizational ties to the Museum of Ontario Archaeology. The Museum began as a collection of antiquities kept in some locations throughout London, including Middlesex College and Western University College. It was officially opened with help from Western's Faculty of Social Science and the university president. Despite being incorporated as a separate nonprofit with no capacity for financial sharing, the Museum's directors were nonetheless chosen by the University's Board of Governors.

- It offers individual, pair, and team sports for players of both sexes, including amateur athletes.
- Students at the Western University now take part in baseball, basketball for men & women, beach volleyball, cheerleading, dancing, cross country for men and women, golf, lacrosse, women's rowing, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, and track for men and women.
- The number of players from the Western University who have been selected for the Commissioner's Honor Roll, All-American, All-Region, and All-Conference teams places them among the top athletes in the S.S.C. Specialized stadiums for baseball, softball, soccer, track & lacrosse that the institution recently built are comparable to several Division facilities.
- The Western University fielded the first collegiate football team not long after the institution was founded. They played their first three seasons at Plant Field, which had to accommodate several neighborhood events. The institution built its structure in Field, which was given that name in honor of a local businessman who donated some property close to the University to be used as the site of the stadium.
- Sports & Recreation Services, a department of the Faculty of Health Sciences, oversees athletics at Western. Varsity teams from the University compete in the U Sports Ontario University Athletics conference. The Western Mustangs are the nickname for the varsity teams. Western does not offer full-ride athletic scholarships, as is required of all U Sports participants.
- The varsity teams at Western have had great success. Made 16 finals of national championships, won 7 Vanier Cup titles and won three Churchill Bowl titles before that as national champions. Both rowing and basketball have captured 23 and 24 provincial titles, respectively. Two NCAA championship championships have been won by the squash team.
- The goal of the leadership education program is to teach students how to lead effectively on their own and in groups. Individual leadership, group leadership, & community leadership are the three divisions of the program. A person must successfully finish at least five of a tier's seven modules to complete it. Students receive a Letter of Accomplishment from the university dean after finishing the course.
- Student exchange: The Western University offers a program for students to exchange students with some other partner universities to study abroad. Every year, about 400 exchange students travel from all around the world to attend Western, and even more come as foreign undergraduate or exchange students.
