MS Accounting and Analytics UTD (STEM)

American Institute of CPAS (AICPA) has reported a shortage of accountants in the United States. Fewer students are graduating with accounting degrees than in years past, and the number of people taking the CPA is dropping.

To address this challenge, an innovative approach has emerged. STEM accounting combines traditional accounting with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) methodologies, leveraging analytical skill, computer science, and data analysis techniques to enhance a career in accountancy and to provide a forum for international students as well to pursue an accounting career.
