Is Biotechnology considered a STEM major?

Hi, does anyone knows whether is Biotechnology a STEM major? Also, are there any specific specialisations which come under STEM? #biotechnology

Hi Sushant, Yes, Biotechnology is a STEM major. Hence, the specialisations are a part of the major as a whole and are considered STEM as well. Cellular and Molecular biotechnology. Some specialisations which come under STEM : Process technology Food biotechnology Medical biotechnology Environmental and biobased technology Hope this helps! :) See more
