Question

I want to apply for masters in mechatronics or industrial engineering in Germany, what are me chances of getting an admission in TU or in FH University.

I am currently in 4th year and I am pursuing btech in mechatronics 
CGPA = 3/4 ( till date )
GRE = 301
IELTS = 7

I do not have any work experience , will it affect my chances of getting an admission ?

@Avi Sancheti you didn't mentioned about German language proficiency.. If you opt for TU you must atleast have a proficiency till A2

No you have to complete atleast A1 before you apply to colleges.. but possibly A2 is required before you go to Germany..

You haven't mentioned anything about research work. Germany is very competitive, your GPA is above the cut off. Work experience certainly helps but can be offseted by research work, good SOP and LORs. I'll suggest you to look at USA as it is a better alternative.

See in Germany there is TU-9 Universities, these are all state funded universities higly dedicated to research, which is why the there isn't any tuition fees.

Because of this there is tremendous competition.

You GPA is 3/4 which is like the cutoff. 
Your GRE is also very average. To offset this you have to either have work experience or Research Work. 
It is not necessary but it will go a long way if you have a research paper published in a respectable journal or presented in a conference. German Universities also value your GATE score, so you can use that too to improve your profile.

Hi, I am Fawaz Aboobacker.
A Mechanical Engineering student in my final year from Kerala. I used present tense there as I have one semester's result yet pending.
As of now I haven't made up my mind on what to specialise in specific for MS and for countries I have kept UK and Canada as options.
I really would like to talk to someone pursuing MS or planning to do so to get a perspective and get some idea about the same like which University is better or which course is better and so on.
