What is the procedure to apply for APS ?  
Is there a cost involved ? If yes, how much is it for this year ?

APS was released few months back, it is a policy released by German embassy for students who want to pursue education in Germany. APS is a form of certificate which is mandatory for students going Germany.
Documents required for APS- 
✓Complete application form (printed and signed) with passport size photo

✓Copy of the verification fee receipt

✓Copy of Aadhaar card with linked mobile number

✓Copy of the first and last pages of your passport

✓Copy of 12th class certificate and transcript of records

✓Copy of 12th class admit card (upon availability)

✓Copy of the Bachelor's certificate and transcript of records

✓Copy of lang uage certificate

The APS Certification is an authenticity certificate confirming the authenticity of the academic documents being submitted by the student. The APS Certification is managed by the Academic Evaluation Centre that is available in every German Embassy. No doubt APS takes minimum 3 months to provide certificate, and it's too disappointing that students are cancelling there plan for abroad or they're unable to go to their desired intake due to the delay of APS certificate.
Lastly APS certificate costs around ₹18000.
