The University of Canberra is a decent uni, ranks #32 amongst top unis in Australia and New Zealand as per USNR and around 450 globally in the QS rankings.
Hence it is a good university. The opportunities you get will obviously not be as great as the top 10, but there is a lot of opportunities available as an IT graduate. WIL is an integral component of the UC Master of Information and Technology course as it offers students the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience and build professional relationships through real work, or work-like placements.
