Can someone put some light on how the visa process would be affected if we were to be involved in a police case, say in a road accident.
Weird question I know, but it just popped in my head.

No problem if it is squashed or U have been acquitted. U vl hav problems if U r convicted or the case hearing is still going on

I'm not sure about what happens in the i-20 process
But in me normal visitor visa one the police asked me if I had any cases against me like road accident 
They asked so that they could make sure it doesn't hinder the process
