Confused Confused Confused!!!

I've taken my passport during my undergraduate.  In address column my hostel address was printed (even though I've given my permanent address during passport application). 
Should I change the passport address to permanent address..? 
Actually I doubt live in my hometown now...  I'm working in differ city...

Passport is made on present address...If you are always on the move coz of work then it's better to make the passport on hometown address...

Guys, I also have same doubt, I recently got shifted to new address in the same city, so I had given new address so that I ll receive i20 to the new address, but in my passport old address is there, it won't b a problem right?

No need . Although some people do say it is "recommended", but not necessary. Friends I know got their i20s on their working city address.

Moreover , some countries do not even mention addresses on their passports. So their won't be any address verification being done against the passport address, as everyone understands that the passport address is the "current" address and not the permanent address. Hope this helps.

Others may correct me if they faced any issue of passport address in the past, but I doubt anyone must have
