CGPA - 9.16/10 (E.C.E) 2020 passout Work ex - Joined a MNC as a Quality Assurance Engineer 2 IEEE journal papers on AI. A handful of certifications done from Udemy as well as Coursera on Data science and Business intelligence Interested in MS in Information System/PhD in Information Systems My questions are: 1. Can i get into a PhD in IS without a masters degree or as a matter of fact any business background 2. I have two papers in data science but that is related to developing feature selection ML algorithms for spoken language identification 3. I have a few unis in mind (specially UoAlberta) but any other suggestion keeping my background in mind is heartily accepted * Will be applying for Fall’22 * Thanks in advance.

You can get into direct phd. Ieee papers show a strong proof of your research interest. Get a good gre score. Look for professors who are using Ds/Ml as part of their research related to Information Systems. All the best See more
