Can someone explain me the transcripts procedure? Do we need attestation of Marksheet photocopies from Mumbai Uni? Or only transcripts are okay?

depends on the university what they're asking for...some us univs ask for official transcript in a sealed envelope to be sent before application deadline, some ask for the same thing after admission is granted, some (like tamu) allow you to carry all the originals with yourself and get them verified before first day of classes when you reach the univ, a few german universities asked only for attested photocopies of degree plus semester wise marksheets...get both attestation and official transcripts
