Are all the TOEFL centres so much noisy or it was just for me in hyderabad prometeric test centre? Is there any way I can complain to ETS about this? My test centre for TOFEL was crowded and so noisy and headphones were not loud enough to counter the noise.What should I do?

Every main centre is as bad. I don't think complaining is going to help. It's become a known fact that we'd have to face a noisy environment while taking TOEFL.

Not every centre is like that. I'm from chennai but since slots were full, I took mine in Pondy. There were exactly 5 ppl totally in quite a big room which had fans instead of AC. But that helped disperse the noise and I couldn't hear any noise through the entire exam. But my friends took the exam in Chennai. They ended up in your situation.

Can't really comment on that. I didn't know that taking the test at Pondy would turn out to be an advantage. It was just luck I guess.

Depends on what range you are targeting. The top 25 I think will need a score of 100. Other than that, most universities need only around 80.

This is how TOEFL centers are. If your problem was that you were distracted while speaking, then I have a useful tip. Go to the test center 20 odd minutes late. This way your speaking section will start after everyone else’s is done. This is what happened to me. However, if you get distracted by others voices during your listening section, hen sorry to say but you have to bear with it.
