VO: Good morning, please pass your passport and he looked at my i20 so asked that also.
ME: Passed

VO: So you are going to texas a&m. (He was impressed)
ME: Yes sir.
VO: So why TAMU?
ME: Sir, Texas Industrial engineering program has been consistently ranked among the top 10 for the past 10years. Stopped me here.

VO: Which program?
ME: Industrial Engineering.

VO: Which other colleges you applied to?
ME: NCSU, Rutgers, ASU, Clemson

VO: Okay got it. So why Industrial?
ME: Having done my bachelors from Automobile and worked in the same field for 2yrs. I had a clarity of what I want to achieve and pursue in life.

VO: You did bachelors in Automobile?
ME: Yes.

VO: You said you worked for 2yrs, where?
ME: Renault Nissan.

VO: What is your role there?
ME: I am a design engineer working in BIW closures.

VO: So what are your plans after your masters.
ME: Sir I plan to start my own company in manufacturing developing Automobile components.

VO: Okay got it.. so how are you going to sponsor your education?
ME: My father is going to sponsor. He has a savings of 24lakhs. stopped me here.

VO: What does your father do?
ME: He is the vice president of xx company and his salary is xx lakhs per year.

VO: Okay I’m approving your visa, have a nice stay.
ME: Thank you with a big smile and ran away from there.
 

Actually the guy before me was being grilled a lot and he got administrative processing and the beside counters were being rejected so got nervous. But its the confidence that ultimately speaks! The guy before me was not clear in his speech and was talking very fast.
