Need Guidance regarding deadline

Question

Hello, can any one clarify my doubts I am Going to apply in USA for fall 2024 but while shortlisting the university I have came across many university which have standard deadline on 15th jan . So is this ultimate deadline?  Would I be able to apply post this deadline? Please if someone is aware about the same guide me through.

Sometimes it’s mentioned, few universities initial deadline are for admit with scholarship chances. Ranked universities deadlines are very early.
