I'm not sure if Monash has Masters of Computer Science. But you can try for Masters of IT. 
Do note that Masters of Computer Science and Masters  of IT are completely different streams. Do check University of Queensland for comparison which offers both.

Well, its much better compared to other domains. But getting a job without a PR is stressful. 
But again, if you have a good resume and if you're confident of your skills, you should land yourself a part time job easily.
Also do note you get to work only 20 hours a week according to student visa.
