1- SUNY buffalo
2- UIC
3- Purdue

I need help in understanding the MIS course length at these universities. It says 12 months but can it be extended to an additional semester like Rutgers and UConn?

As far as I know SUNY Buffalo is strictly 11 months. Please do recheck if you join in fall, you will graduate before the Summer of next year ends. UIC should be extendable to 16 months I believe, you can verify this by checking for minimum credits required to be taken up for a semester and total degree requirements. Not sure at all about Purdue.
