Hi Vidhukrishnan, no it isn't an issue as long as  you carry your 10th and 12th certificates to the interview. However since many people do add the info it shouldn't seem like you are hiding the same from the VO. You can make changes  to your DS 160 and take the new confirmation number's print out to your Visa Interview if you would like to. You can ask others in your uni group for help on this and also check with them if they have added these details as well.
I know someone who had received their visa last year without filling that as well, so its not a problem!
