Irrespective of student interest which one is better for MS in USA Data Science or computer science
what would you suggest Doing MS in a specific specialized degree like data science or in a CS? why?

I would say if you're really interested in a specific field and you know you like it and want to work with it then a specialised degree is worth it. Otherwise you can do a general degree. See more
