can I start astrobiology at master?or I have to study something like "Cellular Biology" in master and apply for astrobiology in PHD?

Hi Nima, while Edurank does have astrobiology rankings for Italian Universities, when you check their program its mainly the astrophysics department and publications focused on Astrobiology.
I'm no expert in this field, but a topic like Astrobiology sure feels like something some one with a PhD should pursue as it is something that still needs exploration! Your second suggestion of studying Cellular Biology for Astrobiology in your PhD makes more sense, but it would also be possible if you stick to astrophysics or courses from the department of Physics and Astronomy of various Italian Institutes. You can probably discuss all of this with an academic advisor of the university you wish to attend, so explore the websites and find out some contacts!
