How good is TAMU MS in Civil Engg (CEM) vs BCM/CEM Purdue or CEM Virginia Tech? Is it worth spending

How good is TAMU MS in Civil Engg (CEM) vs BCM/CEM Purdue or CEM Virginia Tech? Is it worth spending nearly twice for the same course in Purdue as oppose to TAMU? Any insight is much appreciated. Can someone rate them please? Thanks in advance.

@kidpoker21 TAMU will be better and the job opportunities are more in Texas than Purdue or Virginia Tech, as they are loacated in small places. To me your TAMU decission looks well grounded. See more

Thanks for responding buddy. Tamu has fixed 19 credit courses for ms - cem. I like the course structure on the whole as it is supplemented by courses from May's Business School too. I just want to know if it is good enough for civil engineering and status of jobs in general in Texas. Any insights? @Praharaj I am highly inclined towards Tamu right now and hence want to make an informed decision See more

@kidpoker21 TAMU is as good as Purdue and Virginia Tech. But TAMU is pure Civil Engg. It depends actually which course you are interested in. If you are binterested in Civil Engg and would like to decide on your specialization later, TAMU is the best. But if you want for BCM/CEM like course, Viginia Tech will be better. Depends on what you chose. See more
