Hi! American University and UMBC are ranked above UMass Boston, and the visa approval rates for AU are quite high, followed by UMBC and then UMass Boston.

You will still have to choose based on the course that you like, professors, location and more. The cost of living in American University (washington DC) will be the highest in the country, so unless you can fund yourself or are getting TA/RA, you should think twice!
UMBC may be the best choice out of the three considering everything (since its Public), but Baltimore is notoriously known for its high crime rate! So being careful is everything there.
UMass Boston is a good university, but it maybe overshadowed by a lot of good unis in Boston and Massachusetts.
