ASU electrical engineering Vs USC electrical engineering.

I heard ASU is famous for its EE course and ranks almost equal to USC's EE course. The job offers are also good in both places. And also ASU wins the financial Field. So if I had to choose between the two, which should I go with ?

Finance is something that I have to consider and it's LA ... Living too ...  Plus the jobs for EE are very comparable. So yeah. That's what makes me think

Okay... I am completely dependent on loan and as I am providing a high collateral.. the bank is okay with providing 100% financial assistance... So it's a risk I might be taking financially.. but if it's worth it .. I might give it a shot

If financing is not a problem then go in for USC. ASU is only comparable to usc only when you are taking a course in vlsi otherwise not. You cannot ignore the location also, at USC you may have better shots at career fairs, internships and jobs. I heard from someone that ASU is not doing well right now. Having said all this, i would highly recommend you to talk to seniors from both universities on LinkedIn or other websites.

To be honest, i have talked to so many ppl studying in US, they all said only one thing that is one has to work hard and acquire skills on their own being in a grt clg is not the only way you will land a job. Its totally dependant on you how much efforts you are putting in. Needless to say one has to keep in mind the return of investment also, EE graduate dont get paid as much as the CS graduates! Just choose whatever suits you.

@KST USC is definitely much better than ASU. The advantage is its a better school having better chances of jobs as well as internship. But the living cost will be min 3 times than that of ASU. Univ is also costly. At the same time ASU is also very good. A small difference in ranking does not matter much and a good student has always got good opportunities in employment.

I didn't apply to USC due to the course fee. If USC and asu are rated same for EE why would you go to USC which is costlier. If you have a scholarship or if you are not bothered by fee structure of USC then you contact somebody on campus and decide. ASU is pretty good. I don't personally think it this choice will affect much in ur career.

Hey USC is ranked 13 for grad EE. Asu is 33. According to ranking USC is a better school.
