My profile: GRE: 321(167Q,154V,3.5); 
MS GPA in ECE: 3.79; Ugrad: 2.25 in EEE(covered reasons in SoP)
I have significant work experience in defense industry.
Applied to MS of Computer Science for the following programs:
Admit: Worcester Poly | Pending: VTech, UofVirg, OSU, CWRU, POSU, USC
There is a lack of info about WPI at Yocket. Could we elaborate on this university in terms of ROI, placements, city, theory-practice balance, reputation, AI/ML research oppotunities, financial aid and also compare it to the programs mentioned above?

Review by current 2nd year MS CS student at WPI. I asked him few questions, his answers -

Hi,
1. WPI is highly reputed here, especially for CS. The course is demanding but definitely very good. 
2. Good exposure to companies with career fairs n with the career development center. Good CS the prospect is really good, but the overall experience is subjective
3. It's a professional environment with great facilities. I love it. Worcester is not very expensive, do you can afford a room for yourself, which is a big deal as compared to many other places like Boston, NY or the west coast.
4. Avg living cost is $550-600/month n fees would be $1400 * 33 credits (you can find some source of funding. It's not certain but some or other way if u really want, you can find it on campus)

About profile, I don't know if I'm the best person to evaluate. I know WPI considers overall profile n not just ur GRE score. I would suggest that you mail the college representative n see if you can get any insight on this.

Overall, WPI is a great place with great reputation. I would highly recommend, especially for CS. Good luck. Hope this helps.

Quadratic Case western is a highly ranked univ. No comparison with WPI.  Case western is in Cleveland ohio. WPI is in boston area.  CWRU requires more than 318 and 7.5 for admit. For WPI 295 and 6.2  is sufficient. WPI competes with boston univ and NEU guys.  CWRU do not compete with any body considering Cleveland univ is low ranked.

City and weather are negatives, on the other hand its very close to Boston. It seems like a technical school where a lot op practice and learning go together with co-op programs. It is small but has a reputation although there is not much info.

@Shirish, would you choose CWRU over WPI in terms of CS in machine learning/AI specialization? (I realize that CWRU ranking slightly beats WPI.) Can I assume your comment is your overall evaluation?
