Greetings for the day. 
I just got admit from University of Western Ontario for M.Eng in Mechanical Engineering for Fall 2017. I just want to know how is the university in terms of education, faculty, diversity and whether a person with good profile after M.Eng will get a good job across Canada or in USA.  
Secondly, as the fee is around 14-16 for one year, is it worth to spend that much amount to do M.Eng in Canada?
Furthermore, the course can be completed in 1-2 year. If a student complete his study in 1 year, for how many he/she will get work permit?

it totally depends Upton the university's co-op program.most of the Canadian universities tuition fee is more than 12k . Of cost was your consideration , you should have applied to University of Victoria (annual fee 6k) , university of Saskatchewan (2k) , university of regina(2k). in terms of job prospects, location matters a lot. Also check your departments previous placement records.
