Total cost to study in Canada for masters

based on what you are applying for..
If you are going for a thesis based program cost would be comparatively lesser..plus you would probably get scholarship or get some role as RA or TA...

If you are going for project or course based masters..fees would be somewhat higher than that of thesis based programs...

Tuition fee in Canada will be around 15 to 40 lakh. depends on the university and course
Then you have to pay 5 lakh to GIC account for Canada student visa by applying to scotia Bank or ICICI Bank, then Canadian government will pay you 1000$ every month for your expense. It's your wish to use that money, if you are looking for part time job or any internship you will manage your living expense there.
You have to show your next year expenses including tuition fee to visa committee.
So your expense will be around 20 to 50 lakh.

Rest all expense depends on your life style. Do manage in the initial 2yrs to live with peace later.
Be ready for minimum of 20-25 lakhs even if the course fees and cost of living is low.
