Background: I'm currently a final year undergraduate student at Jorhat Institute of Science & Technology, pursuing Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. Over the past few years, I've been involved with multiple internships, research projects, and extracurricular activities. Profile Overview: - Completed two internships, one in academia at Tezpur University (a reputed university in my region) and the other in the industry at a private startup, focusing on Web/Android Development. - Engaged in research on Diabetic Retinopathy using Image Processing & ML, with a published review paper and another ongoing research paper (similar field, not yet published) - Actively involved in tech communities, serving as GDSC Lead, Beta MLSA, HackerEarth Campus Ambassador, Postman Student Leader, etc. - Recognized for my participation in hackathons, including being an All India Top 10 Finalist at an IEEE National Hackathon. - Qualified for Microsoft Imagine Cup 2024 with my business proposal. - Currently gearing up for competitions like Microsoft Imagine Cup 2024 and the Google Solution Challenge under GDSC. - Secured three Letters of Recommendation (LORs): one from my undergraduate college professor, under whom I did my review paper, one from my mentor at my academic internship, and one from the founder of the startup company where I completed my third-year internship. - Maintained a CGPA of 7.5/10 after 6 semesters of study. Preparation Tips: How should I tailor my application materials to highlight my strengths and experiences effectively? 3. Standardized Tests: When should I aim to take the GRE and Duolingo English Test for Fall 2024 or early 2025 intakes? 4. Application Timeline: What's the ideal timeline for completing and submitting applications for these intakes? 5. Field of Study: Given my interests, which MS programs or specializations within these fields would align best with my career aspirations? 6. Specific Details for Consideration: - Standardized Tests: I have not taken the GRE yet. I am not planning on taking TOEFL or IELTS. I will be taking the Duolingo English Test for English Proficiency only. I'm not sure which intake would be best for me or when I should take the GRE and Duolingo English Test. - Graduation Timeline: I will be graduating from my college by May or June this year.
