MS in VLSI Does a LOR from Stanford alumnus help in getting the admit? because my manager with whom I've worked for three years is a Stanford alumnus. GRE : 330(170Q+160V) TOEFL:110 CGPA :8.2 (even grading) BTech : IIT Kanpur 3 years experience in relevant field at Samsung Semiconductor India R&D Center. 2 months internship at the above MNC. No paper. Good LOR and SOP. Many extra curricular activities at college( Academic Mentor, mainly public relations for various fests) please suggest Universities in the decreasing order of difficulty. what can be improved to get into ambitious universities?(may be 1 year later).
