Minimum requirements in University of Waterloo MDSAI

Question

Hi All, I've 76% percentage in UG and the minimum requirement for MDSAI program is 78%. However, I've 8 IELTS score, 7 being the lowest band score as well as 2+ Years of Work Exp. Need your suggestions if I should give it a shot or I'm better off saving that money and applying somewhere else. Hi Vignesh, I would suggest you give it a shot. However, make sure that you have done your best work in drafting the SOP. It should have a strong element of 'convincing' the reader that you're the best fit. Basically, the SOP should compensate for the minor difference in the minimum required percentage.

It depends on where the university reviews the application holistically or not. Also you have a better chance if it's the fall intake and not spring.
