Is anyone considering Norway for doing master's? If yes, do you have an idea about how difficult it is to get a job in Norway? Please provide more insights on finding a job in Norway after a master's for international students and aspects to look into to find a decent job. #Norway

Hi Sushant, several factors go into finding a job in Norway. 
1) You need to be graduating out of a very popular university there. Just going to Norway in any random uni with no international or domestic recognition never gets you a job anywhere.
2) The course you pursue must be good and in demand in Norway. Norway has a low unemployment rate, but the demand for different fields are obviously different. Oil sector pays really well, hospitality comes as one of the lowest paid fields.
3) You need to be proficient in the local language. Most jobs will have clients speaking in their local language, and you need to know it in order to be relevant.
4) You lack connections in the country. As soon as you start your studies, get in touch with industrial professionals who can hook you up with jobs, internships or any such opportunities.
5) Your knowledge on their culture, references and domestic work experience.

It is worth studying in Unis that have an international recognition. These are the University of Oslo (ranked 135th in the world), University of Bergen (171st), Norwegian University of Science and Technology (joint 363rd) and University of Tromsø as well as The Arctic University of Norway (joint 369th).
