I had applied for MS in IS (or ITM) at UIC, UTD, UT Arlington and Oklahoma University for Fall 2019

Question

I had applied for MS in IS (or ITM) at UIC, UTD, UT Arlington and Oklahoma University  for Fall 2019. I have received Acceptance mail from the first three, Oklahoma is yet to give their decision. Where should I be heading to?

UTD has a pretty good course. UIC is a good university as well. Make them your priority.

Every other MIS course will have a majority of Indians. You cannot do anything about it.
So, don't consider it to be a factor.
Focus on curriculum. If it aligns with your goals, go for it.

@brocodeprogrammer UIC is academically better with few Indian students, even batch is also very small. Chicago is a big city with a lot of opportunities. Even Dallas is also a big city but huge no of students in and around Dallas make it crowded. Both are equla kind of Universities. You have to take a decision on choosing your priority.

@brocodeprogrammer I heard the same. And I am pretty confused between these two UIC & UTD. I have heard that UTD has a solid course but for Academic exposure UIC is better. I am super confused too.

You can consider UTD or UIC, I have not heard any good review of uic. Idk what is the exact problem. But you can surely consider it as a good option along with utd.

I would suggest UIC or UTD. UTD is like mini india but their curriculum is good.

Yes UIC n UTD are my priority. But if you guys could suggest as to which is better in MIS (UTD has ITM as the curriculum name).  I am intending to look for jobs after my MS and maybe pursue PhD 3 years post MS

@Praharaj  yeah I have heard that UTD is full of Indians.. But I have also heard that UIC's course is bit shallow. UTD has more depth in their curriculum.. Is it true??

I am thinking of choosing UIC. The ranking provided by Google varies differently.. Some sites have UTD at a higher rank than UIC while others have the opposite
