I got admit from Syracuse university for Computer engineering. Is it good to proceed given my electrical engineering bg?

Initially I applied for cs as i am interested to go for ai/ml but mostly rejects i got i think majorly of my different ug branch, irrelevant work exp and 7.2 gpa. Still my few results are pending so I would like to know if anyone could guide whether Syracuse is good to?
