@NightFury007 U can still get a job of software developer after your MIS based on your past work/college experience. But then what is the use of your MIS degree. I can't comment on salary because it completely depends upon the individual and also state where one applies for a job. For MIS, job profiles are data analyst/scientist/administrator, product manager, auditor, business analyst and many more.

In our class of 125 students, there are only one or two students who are freshers. And I have no idea about their profiles but they mostly prefer experienced students for MIS course.

Hii, I am from BE> ECE background, M.Tech in  Interdisciplinary field from one of the premiere institutes in India, and have 4 years of work ex in interdisciplinary field, with some work related to MIS. I don't have much knowledge of programming side/ cs. So does this course include some core CS subjects, which might be essential for job opportunities. Is this course more technical or managerial? Do students with profile like mine find good job opportunities from this course?
