The chart says 3.5/4.0 for 8.99. Had there been any option to attach a file here, I would have sent the chart. My Wes igpa conversion & the one using this chart came to be approximately equal with a minor deviation in decimal digit so you can trust this conversion. Though I am unsure whether CMU accepts this conversion. See more

Thanks, for CMU it is asked in the application to mention grade in scale of 4 and they have provided the link for WES calculation as well. But, it is quite difficult and not so clear in calculating equivalent grade point in 4 scale in that manner. Anyway, my CGPA is 8.99 , if you can tell, I may approximate. Thanks for the help . Most of the universities forbid us to convert GPA & leave it as it is as they have a team in grad admission council for this job. Some asks us to go for WES paid conversion. So, it is always recommended to either leave GPA as it is or pay WES for conversion.
