Hi, I am planning to take 3rd LOR for masters in CS from my manager but the issue is I am working as QA for software product (by the time of application I will have 18 months of experience). Can someone please advise me whether I should take LOR from my manager or from another professor from my college ?

It depends on university specifications. Getting 3 academic lors is not required, two are enough. Lors must be from people who have closely worked with you rather than their organisational ranking. See more

Hi 1)It is mandatory to have 3 lors from college hod, associate professor and assistant professor . 2) and yes u also need a lor from ur manager stating that u have been working from 18 in this particular organization etc As per my knowledge bcz I have followed the same procedure See more

With work experience less than 5 yrs, it is advisable to have two academic and one professional lor.
