Hi,
I am aiming for Ms in Cs for fall of 2021.
I have been looking at my options of getting 1 LOR from corporate side. I have two choices:
a. From CEO of a US based company with ~150 employees
b. From sde2/3 working at one of the FANG
Can anyone please suggest me which choice would be better?

Getting LOR from a manager or CEO is better, provided they can rate your work well. Although academic LORs have much more value. Some colleges specifically state this, even though they accept corporate LORs.

If you have an option, get from both. LORs written by supervisors/professors with whom you have worked closely and who can talk about your strength and area of interest are considered effective. Hope this helps.

Generally 2-3 lors are required. These are dependent on the course and University you apply to. But you can fetch more than required, it's never a problem for the application.

I would go with the person with whom you have closely worked on a project..who can talk specifics about me..

So you have to chose accordingly. I chose my reporting managers ( I had three of them during my 55 months career) because I felt they could write  specifics about my strength, contribution to the organization, and my capabilities.
