First of all, Congratulations on receiving the admits.

UTD's MIS programme is part of the Jindal School of Management, which is one of the good business schools in the United States. In case of Syracuse, the MIS program is offered by the iSchool.
If you are interested in combining technical and business courses all the majors have good offerings.

The programmes at UTD and Syracuse are both managerial in nature. There are many business courses to choose from, UTD and Syracuse, both have a location advantage. Obtaining on-campus opportunities at UTD is a serious concern due to the large number of international students. In comparison to UTD, Syracuse offers more on-campus opportunities.. Syracuse MIS provides students with a comprehensive set of courses in Data Engineering and Data Science.

Based on the advantages it possesses, the best option is Syracuse's MIS, followed by UTD. Connect on Linkedin with seniors from these schools, and then conduct a thorough analysis.

When compared to MIM, UMCP MIS is a better course. MIM also has a lot of issues because it is a completely business degree, similar to an MBA. I'd tread carefully down that road. I would advise against using UMCP MIM. If it had been MIS, I would have suggested UMCP MIS.
